The New School was established in 1920-s and eventually created or acquired eight divisions, which include Eugene Lang College for Liberal Art, Milano school for Management and Urban Policy, Parsons School for Design, the school for Drama, and the school of General Studies (GS).
Media Studies MFA (GS) offers full-time two-year (9 credits), part-time (6 credits), and online options. A one-year, full-time Certificate in Documentary Media Studies allows count all classes with A or B grades toward the MFA.
Creative Writing MFA (GS) is a full-time only, 1 year program. It offers a concentration in non-fiction, and other areas of concentration in writing.
Cost $1k/per credit.
Admissions to these programs do NOT require standardized tests.
